RescueTime was founded by a bunch of BUILDERS (2 coders &#38; a UX designer)...  It definitely took us a while to realize that how we talk about our product is AT LEAST as important as the product itself.  The first step is admitting that the positioning part of marketing is a skill like any other and can be attacked scientifically.  It's not "just common sense" and it doesn't REQUIRE a "people person" (though a little empathy helps!).

We've still got a long way to go here-- thanks for recognizing our efforts so far!</description>
