The Afghan Whigs return with Soft Control, their tenth
First new music in four years, out today.

The Afghan Whigs released Soft Control on Friday. It’s the band’s tenth studio album and their first new music since How Do You Burn? in 2022.
Four years is the longest gap since Greg Dulli restarted the band in 2012, and early press pegs the record as the usual engine with more patience: the ’90s alternative muscle intact, less hurry in it.
