Brandon Flowers debuts "A Good Man Is Hard To Find" in Bristol

Brandon Flowers played a new solo song, "A Good Man Is Hard To Find," at Bristol Beacon last night. The set also carried a cover of The Coral's "Dreaming Of You."

The title comes from Flannery O'Connor's short story, first published in 1953. Flowers played the song live for the first time.

It lands after his country solo record Thrasher, out in August. Flowers described the period spent making it in Nashville as a "real fruitful time," and said he wrote and recorded two records across that run.

The second one is due sometime in 2027.
