Carissa's Wierd share second single from first album in 25 years

Carissa's Wierd posted "I Don't Feel Like I Feel Right" on October 9, the second song out from Somewhere Further Than Far Away. It follows the lead single "No One Lives Here Anymore." The album is their first in 25 years, and it lands January 8 on Nettwerk.

The Seattle duo of Jenn Champion and Mat Brooke broke up in 2003. Brooke turned up in Band Of Horses, joining Ben Bridwell, once the lead voice of Carissa's Wierd and still the one in front of that band. A one-off reunion single came in 2011. This is more than that.

Champion put the record in plain terms: "Mat and I have lived a lot of lives together. This is kind of a reckoning with our past and present, and how a relationship can feel fated to be no matter what happens along the way." The album is out 1/8 on Nettwerk.
