Everything But the Girl announce Blue Reservoir, share "Young and Dumb" video

Everything But the Girl have announced Blue Reservoir, their follow-up to 2023's Fuse, and shared the song and video for "Young and Dumb." The album is out February 19 via Buzzin' Fly / Virgin Music Group and holds 10 originals. Fuse was the duo's first record after a 24-year break.

The video, directed by Edward Bishop from a treatment by Ben Watt and Tracey Thorn, was shot at Moth Club in London, where the pair played a residency last year. "There was an intensity and simplicity to the Moth shows that took us back to how we started out," Thorn said. "Direct, rooted in guitar and voice, a few extra colors." Watt wrote and performed much of the album on a Spanish nylon-string guitar, and the record features Rex Horan on double bass, Evan Jenkins on drums and Fabio de Oliveira on percussion.

The tracklist runs "Forward," "Scala," "Young and Dumb," "Do What You Can," "Christmas Gone," "Courage Mon Brave," "The Round and Round," "Fork in the Road," "Good Hope" and "The Great Unknown." Blue Reservoir is released February 19.
