Hot Chip open pre-orders for A Long Way From Kansas

Hot Chip are taking pre-orders for a new album, A Long Way From Kansas, with a UK and Europe tour pre-sale attached to early orders. Order before 23:59 on Tuesday 20 October and you get access to the pre-sale. One code per person.

The formats are set: 2LP plus bonus 7" at £44.99, CD at £11.99, digital from £6.99. Merch runs to a Toto T-shirt and a self-titled A Long Way From Kansas shirt, each £35.00. There is no tracklist and no lead single announced here.

The title borrows Dorothy's line from The Wizard of Oz. The record surfaced after the band marked 20 years of The Warning this year; the album is dated January 8.

Nothing else is confirmed. The tour dates themselves are still to come. For now the only clock running is the 20 October cut-off, before which the pre-sale access is earned.
