Immersion return with What Is Lost Will Return

Immersion, the duo of Colin Newman and Malka Spigel, released the album What Is Lost Will Return on September 4. A review by Joe Dainty followed on September 24, calling the record's territory the space between song, groove and electronic abstraction.

Two names carry the project's weight. Newman has spent decades in Wire, Spigel in Minimal Compact and her own work. Together as Immersion they work where rhythm leads and vocals surface rather than sit on top. 'Nephology', 'Breaking Free, Diversity, Evolution', 'We Don't Need Your Validation', 'Megafauna', 'Childsplay' and 'Radio Signals' are among the tracks, closing on 'Frequencies & Echoes'.

No tour dates, videos or label details have been announced beyond the release itself, which is streaming now on the project's own channels.
