Liz Harris to release Music For Two Films About Water

Liz Harris will release Music For Two Films About Water on November 27. The collection goes out under her own name, not the Grouper one. Pre-orders are open on Bandcamp for a digital copy, an LP, and a CD, with one track, 'Untitled (from Constellation)', available now. The full record arrives on release day. Vinyl runs $22 or more, the CD $15 or more, and digital buyers get 24-bit/48kHz files. When the record lands it will also stream via Apple Music.

The set pairs two extended pieces Harris made for films released in 2023 and 2024: We Exhale, Tanja Engelberts' look at how damming and industrial pollution reshaped France's Rhone, and Takashi Makino's Constellation, the source of the preview track.

A run of live dates sits alongside the release: October 29 and November 1 in Turin, Utrecht on November 5, Brussels on November 6, Glasgow on November 12, and two nights at Cafe OTO in London on November 18 and 19. Dates follow in January at the Chan Centre in Vancouver and McDougall United Church in Edmonton.
