Margo Cilker drops third album Little White Cross
The Pacific Northwest songwriter teams with producer Bruce Robison for a record built on spare arrangements and blue-collar detail.
BY JOLT Staff · Oct 10 2026 · 1 min readMargo Cilker released Little White Cross on October 9, her third album. Bandcamp Daily made it their Album of the Day, with Zara Hedderman writing the review. The record is out on Vinyl LP and CD.
Cilker, California-born and now settled in the Pacific Northwest, made the album with Texan songwriter and producer Bruce Robison. Eric Heyward plays pedal steel across it. Little White Cross mixes Cilker's own songs with covers of Tom Petty and Ian Tyson. Her lyrics run on breathless motion and terrain: "running so hard that I can't breathe," "freedom that comes from living off the land," "two American kids with paychecks to spend."
The arrangements stay spare, and Hedderman's review puts them near Nebraska and Time (The Revelator). Nothing on touring or follow-up dates follows that release, so Little White Cross is the whole of the story for now.
