BY JOLT Staff · Oct 20 2026 · 1 min readNabihah Iqbal has released 'Heaven Can Wait' via Ghostly International, her first release since signing to the label. The UK artist, now based in New York, put the single out on October 20 as the follow-up to her 2023 album 'DREAMER'.
Iqbal says the song reaches for a specific room and a specific feeling. "I wrote the song in a small, quirky, basement studio in the East Village, Manhattan and I wanted to channel the energy and freedom of this New York neighbourhood," she said. Of the subject: "It's about loving life, feeling good and appreciating all the positive things that this world has to offer."
The track was recorded live with the full band playing together in a studio with a big live room. She plays Nightclub 101 in New York on October 31st. Nothing else about the follow-up to 'DREAMER' has been announced.
