Bandcamp Daily makes OK Cowgirl’s Rhinestone Cowgirl its Album of the Day

Album of the Day on release day. That’s the story.

Bandcamp Daily named OK Cowgirl’s Rhinestone Cowgirl its Album of the Day on Friday, the same day the record came out.

Album of the Day is Bandcamp’s one editorial slot per day, and landing it on release day is the version that moves copies: the writeup sits on the storefront while the record is newest.

No tour dates are attached to the announcement yet. If the placement turns into shows, that’s the next story.
