Tim Armstrong and Jesse Michaels, the two voices of Operation Ivy, have a new ska project called The Family Business LTD. Their first single came out this week.

Operation Ivy ended in 1989 and never reunited, which made the band a legend at exactly the size it never got to be. Michaels went on to Common Rider and Classics of Love; Armstrong built Rancid. The two writing together again is the actual news here, whatever the single does.

No album, label or shows are announced yet. When one of those lands, so will we.
