Rachel Chinouriri plays SNL UK with a new one and a debut-album cut

Rachel Chinouriri was the musical guest on SNL UK, hosted by Amelia Dimoldenberg, on September 27. She performed two songs across the broadcast.

The first was "One Song Away From Crying," from I Think I Spoke Too Soon, the forthcoming album she still has to release. The second was "Never Need Me," a track off her 2024 debut, What A Devastating Turn Of Events.

The billing renews Chinouriri's turn as a live draw. Comedian Dimoldenberg hosted and recently announced she was ending her show Chicken Shop Date. The cold open starred Oasis's Liam and Noel Gallagher in a Russian phishing-scam sketch. Dimoldenberg's line: "the world famous red-headed puppet with a hand up his ass telling him what to say." Noel spoke from the cyber experiment as "Nolakov Galagski." Liam, as "Liamovich Galagov," added: "All our songs made in lab by Kremlin scientist."

No release date for I Think I Spoke Too Soon is announced.
