septi trades synths for toy flutes on Ventos

septi has released Ventos, a seven-track ambient album made with synthesizers and several kinds of toy flutes. The record is out on Bandcamp, listed as released October 13, 2026.

The flutes were new ground for the project. "I sampled the flutes and processed them heavily in Ableton," septi says. He credits the wind instruments for the title: Ventos is Galician for winds.

Alongside the audio there is a browser-based version, built with JavaScript animations that push particles around the way wind would. Those particles key off the music's frequencies and intensity: "connecting what you see with what you hear," septi says. So the flutes move something on screen too.

The album and the site are the release.
