Siavash Amini and Eugene Thacker released 'Songs for Sad Poets, Vol. III' on August 27. It's the third collaborative album from the Tehran-based composer and Brooklyn author, arriving four years after their 2022 self-titled release.

Voice synthesis software reads Thacker's poetry, and Amini layers the results up to 40 times. The textures are stark and uncanny, with a 19-minute track dedicated to Nikolaus Lenau and shorter pieces for João da Cruz e Sousa and Hàn Mặc Tử.

The cover will appeal to fans of their earlier work.
