Virga drop two songs between tour stops

Virga released two new songs on October 9: "Perception Management" and "Impassable Monolith II". The Lawrence, Kansas trio posted both to their Bandcamp and streaming accounts, tagging the material "prairie goth". "Perception Management" runs seven minutes.

Virga have been a band since 2022 and have three EPs behind them, the latest being this year's The Perfect Freedom Of Single Necessity. They are currently opening the first leg of Chat Pile and Soul Glo's North American tour, which puts the new songs in front of a crowd already primed for the loud end of things.

Two dates remain on that run: tonight in Houston and tomorrow in Dallas, after which Shallowater take over the support slot. After Dallas, Virga's schedule is those two EPs and a live show that will be in the past tense by the weekend.
