BY JOLT Staff · Oct 3 2026 · 1 min readJagjaguwar reissued Way Dynamic's Massive Shoe today, with a new bonus track, "Officially." The album first came out through Melbourne's Spoilsport Records before it became a streaming hit and pulled the American label in. The reissue follows the record's second life, not an anniversary.
Way Dynamic is Dylan Young, who has been recording under the name since his university days at RMIT in Melbourne about a decade ago. His earliest Bandcamp release goes back to 2018, and the project has put out three albums made with Good Morning's Stefan Blair. Young also plays guitar in Cool Sounds, Dainis Lacey's project.
Young was meant to be deep into a US tour right now. Visa issues pushed the run to early next year, so no domestic dates sit on the calendar yet. He says he hopes the fourth Way Dynamic record will be the most different one.
