BY JOLT Staff · Oct 15 2026 · 1 min readWitchthroat Serpent released Demons Left To Roam on October 15, 2026. Bandcamp Daily made it the Album of the Day, and Will Ainsley's writeup called it one of the best metal albums of 2026. The Rome band puts it out on HEAVY PSYCH SOUNDS Records, on Vinyl LP and CD; Apple's listing has the release dated October 9.
The record opens on "Cursed Night Circle", which runs a sample from the 1971 film The Brotherhood of Satan: "Hear and be merciful, Satan, honor thy covenant." From there it is doom played by a band that trusts the room and the tape hiss.
Demons Left To Roam was, per the credited note, "Live recorded, mixed and mastered in summer 2025 by Christophe Chavanon at Kerwax Studio, all on analog tape." Fredrik Bolzann is on vocals. The CD and vinyl are out now.
