Four guests inside 10 songs is a lot to manage, but the running time does the managing.

The most specific moment is Cougar, the favorite. Its description as a foray into sexy drill terrain gives it a clearer identity than anything else on the tracklist. It moves into softer, flirtatious territory without losing drill's edge, and in a release this deliberate about duration, one standout can carry outsize weight. Cougar carries it.

There is also If I, Pt. 3, which extends a series that began nine years ago. The title is a small piece of memory, a marker for anyone who has followed the line. It fits the project's logic: acknowledge the past, keep the runtime tight, and move along.

What keeps Last Night Out from reaching higher is its own narrow ceiling. The same discipline that holds it to 30 minutes keeps it in one lane. Cougar gets the clear highlight, and the other tracks mostly make themselves useful around it rather than matching it. That is not a fatal flaw for a short record, and it may even be the point, but it does leave the project with one peak instead of two or three.

The score sits at 3.5 because the concision is a real choice with visible payoff, not an accident and not an excuse. It is not a 4 because the release does not stretch enough for anything else to stand beside Cougar. Ten tracks, one standout, no wasted seconds, and a closing time that honors the title. Last Night Out is short, and short is the best case it can make.
