DJ Suzy gives sw33t a second verse and a new title
A month-old single comes back with a guest verse and a second billing. The addition carries the whole record.

DJ Suzy's previous record was Haunted Disc, in 2024. sw33t is newer than that, a pop song that lives on its melody and its harmony. Nourished By Time, a Baltimore singer-songwriter, says it struck him on those terms, deceptively complex, and made him want people to hear much more of her.

His verse adds a second angle on wanting rather than a second hook. He takes the song's attention inward, and the title does the same job in miniature: one small word, so, and the feeling gets a little further away, a little more wished for than had.
That is also the limit of the release. There is no second track, no alternate take, no other version. If sw33t was on repeat through August, this is worth the three minutes, and the guest verse is the reason. If it was not, you already own the song.
It is for the first group, and for anyone who follows Nourished By Time's writing. It is not the place to meet DJ Suzy. Haunted Disc is.
3.5, then: a good pop song handed a better second half while the original is still warm. The verse justifies the trip. Nothing here pretends to be more than that.
