Animal Collective to play Feels in full at first shows in four years

Animal Collective will reunite for the first time in four years to perform their 2005 album Feels in full at two shows: Oct. 22 at Knockdown Center in Queens and Oct. 24 at Fonda Theatre in Los Angeles. Dubbed FEELS LIVE, the concerts feature the album plus "some extras from the time." Tickets go on sale Thursday, Sept. 10.

The band's last full-group shows came while touring Time Skiffs. When fans asked why they weren't performing Feels, they "just hadn't asked ourselves," per a statement. The announcement notes a short window to gather, with future dates tentative.
