Chastity Belt share "Friends For This" ahead of All My Friends

Chastity Belt released "Friends For This" on November 2, the last single before their new album All My Friends. The record is out November 6 on Suicide Squeeze.

The band has been previewing the album in two-song chunks. Previous singles include "I Could Say Less," "Pavement," "To Decide," and "Designs." "Friends For This" follows that run.

Guitarist and vocalist Lydia Lund wrote the lyrics after moving back to Seattle from England. "I wrote the lyrics for this song right after moving back from England," she said. "It was a time where it felt sooo good to reconnect with my friends after spending the last two years away from Seattle. We had lots of sleepovers."

Vocals were recorded in Lund's basement with Julia, Gretchen, and Samur. "Gretchen recorded some pretty amazing wails for the end of this song," Lund said. "I think if you listen really closely, you can hear them." All My Friends is out November 6.
