Iglooghost and daisy* team up for an irony-drenched album of early-2000s weirdo hip-hop and IDM.

Bristol duo Cyst, made up of Iglooghost and daisy* (formerly BABii), released their debut album ᲘᲘ on September 3. The title is pronounced 'ee-ee'.

The album is irony-drenched early-2000s weirdo hip-hop and IDM, with track titles like 'Dog Shit', 'Needle', 'Pest', and 'Knackered'. The cover shows the pair as a down-at-heel young couple clutching a baby and an overloaded shopping bag, timed with the current 'UK poo' discourse.

The duo said: 'We got fixated on a really brief moment where weirdo hip-hop and IDM crossed paths at the very start of the millennium.' The album is up for pre-order on CD and shirt formats.
