Drake's Fear of Missing Out is a film, teaser confirms

Drake's teased project Fear of Missing Out is a movie. A newly dropped teaser trailer calls it a "not so short film directed and scored by the family," and sets the premiere for September 15th at 9:00 p.m. ET.

The name gets shortened to FOMO, an acronym Drake had been teasing without revealing what it meant. Now it has a format and a date and no label tied to it in the announcement.

It arrives after his triple-album megadrop from earlier in the year, so the year gets another Drake moment instead of a quiet finish.

There is no runtime, no credits, nor any platform besides the date and the trailer’s own description.
