The EP was co-produced by Joe Armon-Jones, Franky Bones, Blk Deco and Velvetian Sky. Armon-Jones features on opener 'Shouldn't Be'; rapper SALIMATA appears on the closer 'Pretty Lady, WYA'. Boris Holmes directed the video for 'Come or GO'.
Gumbani, Brooklyn-born and based in Southeast London, framed the record as an assembly job, comparing the tracks to the beans that go into a bean pie. "Some are fresh, some have been sitting around and changing shape with me," he said. "Once you put them together, they become something else."
