Mike Watt announces Thresher collab album 'Beekeeper', supergroup Casa Sueño

Mike Watt has been staying active. On September 4 he announced two projects: a joint record with Thresher called ‘Beekeeper’, out September 10 through OwnSound Recordings, and a new combo called Casa Sueño with guitarist Mike Baggetta and drummer John Herndon.

“Sip Of The Sweetness” and “The Bee Dance” have just been released. Casa Sueño, which Baggetta announced back in June, starts a run of shows on September 17 through October 10, with stops in San Pedro, Costa Mesa, San Diego and Tijuana.

Watt and Baggetta had earlier performed as part of mssv. Another supergroup featuring Watt, Big Circle, put out an eponymous EP back in July. Casa Sueño’s main track should be arriving shortly.
