Olivia Rodrigo's Daisy Chain Fields raises $20 million for women and girls charities

Olivia Rodrigo's inaugural Daisy Chain Fields festival raised $10 million in net proceeds for women and girls charities, with Melinda French Gates matching that amount to bring the total to $20 million and counting. The Saturday event in Irvine, California on August 30 featured Rodrigo, Chappell Roan, Doechii, Bikini Kill, Mitski, The Breeders, Garbage, and more, with artists waiving their fees for the cause.

Special guests during Rodrigo's set included Stevie Nicks, Alanis Morissette, and Sarah McLachlan. All proceeds from net revenue are going to ten nonprofits, including Baby2Baby, Black Mamas Matter Alliance, and Planned Parenthood.

"Daisy Chain Fields was created to celebrate the power of what can happen when we come together to support one another," Rodrigo said. "I'm so grateful to every person who bought a ticket, every artist who waived their fee, every sponsor for signing onto a brand new festival, and every donation that helped get us to $10 million to support women and girls."
