RAP release fourth album Navigator on Jolly Discs

London pair RAP, Guy Gormley alongside Thomas Bush, put out their fourth LP Navigator via Jolly Discs on September 2, 2026. This album gets a review from Sam Davies over at Bandcamp Daily.

Navigator was created using a Korg Triton synth, and contains tracks ‘Wannabe’, ‘Barley Wine’, ‘24 Hrs’, ‘Prodigal Son’, and ‘Bishopsgate (Interlude)’. Gormley noted the album explores ‘being in relationships and growing older, along with perhaps the fantasies around different forms of escape: the open road, substances, extramarital encounters, etc.’ He further stated that they were ‘pushing back against our own guideline that this project should stay grounded in British traditions.’

Audio clips feature a male voice during the interlude stating, “I’ll be home late, unsure of the time,” and a female on “24 Hrs” remarking, “Hey, there you are.”
