Republica announce 30th anniversary reissue and tour

Republica are reissuing their self-titled debut album on double vinyl, 30 years after it reached No. 4 in the UK and spent six weeks in the Top 10. This edition, out on 9 October, includes a live set recorded at the National Sports Centre in Crystal Palace, where six tracks saw a limited CD release; the other three are freshly mixed and mastered from the original tape.

The album generated two UK hits: 'Ready to Go' at No. 13, 'Drop Dead Gorgeous' at No. 7. A large 'Ready to Go' ended up in 'Scream' once director Wes Craven requested it. The catalogue has over 500 sync placements, covering Captain Marvel, Ted Lasso, and Yellowjackets.

Wednesday 16 Oct thru Sun 29 Nov, the group’s match dates, promoted as “30 Years of Ready to Go,” extend from the Isle of Wight and Bristol outward to other places.
