The record's first claim is structural. It wants to be heard as a sequence, with each piece given room around it.

The discipline is visible in the runtime. 'Quiet Refrain' opens at 5:32, the longest track on the record. The title track, at 3:30, is the shortest, and it sits in the middle. The rest cluster in a narrow band between roughly three and a half and five minutes. That evenness suggests a record that values consistency over spikes. The titles share a vocabulary of landscape and control: pines, sand, lines, fades. 'Restoral' adds a word that feels invented for the purpose. The writing is coherent enough to build a world.

The weakness is in the same language. 'Totality Of The Apex' and 'Beneath The Intrigue' are top heavy phrases, and the album promises a scale that a 44 minute electronic record has to earn. Abstract titles are useful when they hint at a feeling. They fail when they sound like they are trying to be important. 'Restoral' works, maybe because it is precise in its awkwardness. 'Totality Of The Apex' does not have that excuse. The record asks for patience, and much of that patience will go on whether the music supports the names attached to it.

Where the Fades Meet is a confident piece of sequencing, and the final track, 'Idle Hours,' ends the route on something like rest. That is an achievement: an album that can make stillness feel like a destination. It is not enough to make the record great on its own, but it makes the record honest. The question is whether the music delivers what the map promises. On structure alone, the map is worth following.
