BY JOLT Staff · Nov 5 2026 · 1 min readTim Reaper will release his debut solo album, World's End, through Hyperdub on 19 February 2027. The 11-track record follows In Full Effect, his 2024 collaboration with Kloke that Hyperdub also released.
World's End moves through several shades of jungle and folds in footwork, drill and gqom. Reaper attributes the range to sessions for his 2024 EP Scorched Earth. In a statement, he said a conversation with a friend had him asking what actually defines jungle: for him, breaks and tempo come first, and any other element can live inside that frame. That realisation, he said, made him want to bring newer, lesser referenced sounds into the mix.
The first taste is 'Roll Call', which runs on footwork rhythms and marching band style percussion. It is available to listen to now. Reaper has previously put out EPs through FABRICLIVE, Rinse, Astrophonica and his own Future Retro London. Nothing else, including a full tracklist and any live dates, is announced.
