Torture Methods drop "RIPPER, REAPER"

Grant Chapman released a new single under his Torture Methods name on Friday, September 18. "RIPPER, REAPER" is the second release for the sample-based project, arriving four months after its self-titled debut in May. It is listed on Apple as a single dated the same day.

Chapman is an NYC-based musician and percussionist for Chris Taylor's Body Meat, a band that already treats rhythm as raw material. Torture Methods builds tracks from samples rather than a live kit.

The Bandcamp page for "RIPPER, REAPER" carries its own introduction: "Over the festering belly buzzed the flies, out of it crawled the worms of decay, in squadrons dark and sluggish stream seething along the ragged flesh."
