Wu-Tang Clan to headline Lions Thanksgiving halftime show
The Clan plays Detroit on November 26, days after entering the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Eminem and Paul Rosenberg are producing the slot.
BY JOLT Staff · Nov 1 2026 · 1 min readWu-Tang Clan will headline the halftime show of the Detroit Lions' Thanksgiving Day game against the Chicago Bears on November 26, the Lions announced. The game airs nationally on CBS beginning at 1:00 p.m. ET.
Eminem and his longtime manager Paul Rosenberg are executive producing the show and overseeing talent selection. Rosenberg framed the booking as a deliberate left turn: "We often like to do things that are both exciting and unexpected. A Wu-Tang Clan Thanksgiving performance in Detroit certainly fits that description," he said, adding that he and Eminem have been Wu fans since the early 90s.
The date lands twelve days after the group's induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame on November 14. The rest of the holiday slate is split across other games: Miranda Lambert takes the Eagles-Cowboys halftime, Goo Goo Dolls play Chiefs-Bills, and U2 headline the NFL's first Thanksgiving Eve game between the Packers and Rams. Last year the Lions tapped Jack White, whose set included a surprise Eminem appearance.
Nothing beyond the game broadcast is announced.
