Iceage strip back four songs for Unplugged set

Iceage played a four-song set on The Adam Friedland Show on September 18, as part of the show's Unplugged series. The set ran through "Star," "The Weak," "Ember," and "Tender Blades." All four come from For Love of Grace & the Hereafter, the band's latest album.

The record hit the halfway point of 2026 on a list of the 33 best albums of the year, so the songs are still doing the rounds. Stripped of amps, they give a reader something the record does not: the writing and the voice with the distortion taken out.

Nothing else about the taping has been announced. The band will support the release with a 2027 tour next spring.
